We are the leading tobacco company in Mexico, one of the largest markets in Latin America, where we have an estimated market share of 60% of the total tobacco market (source: CARSO Group Annual Report 2004, referring to CIGATAM’s market share).

About Mexico

PMI licenses its brands to Philip Morris Mexico, S.A. de C.V. (PMM), and also authorizes CIGATAM, a part of the Carso Group in which it has an interest, to manufacture these brands. PMM sells CIGATAM´S local brands in the Mexican market, through SCPM, along with the international brands licensed to it by PMI.
