Philip Morris Italia Srl, an affiliate of Philip Morris International (PMI), was founded in 2001 in response to changes in the country’s tobacco industry.
This liberalization allowed for new opportunities in the Italian tobacco market and since then we have emerged as Italy’s leading tobacco company with around 52% market share (source: Logista Ex-WHSs, August 2005).
We operate in a highly competitive and regulated market and we look for people who have the ambition and motivation to succeed in this challenging environment.
Intertaba S.p.A. founded in 1963, Zola Predosa (Bologna), is focused on cigarette's filer production with high technological value and on the process technology innovation to suuply Philip Morris International factories worldwide with innovative and superior quality products.
Intertaba operates as a center of expertise for filter production development, so we look for people oriented to technological innovation in machinery engineering.
About our operations
Our head office in Rome is home to over half of our 400 employees. The rest of the team make up our national sales organization and are spread across Italy. We recruit people into different departments, including sales and distribution, marketing, business development, finance, information systems, human resources, corporate affairs and legal.
We sell globally recognized brands in Italy, which are imported from PMI production centres in Germany, Holland and Portugal, amongst others.
The manufacturing site in Bologna, with around 350 employees, recruits people into different departments, including process technology development, production, supply chain, engineering, quality assurance, EHS&S, finance, information systems and human resources.
