For the three decades prior to its acquisition by Philip Morris International (PMI) in 2003, Papastratos developed a close working relationship with PMI, operating as the licensed manufacturer of one of the most popular PMI brands in Greece.

Today Papastratos is the Greek affiliate of PMI, fully aligned with the company’s international standards, proud of its local heritage and with a strong presence in the Greek market.

About our operations

Papastratos is one of the largest cigarette manufacturing companies in Greece, employing approximately 1,000 people in its offices throughout the country.
